Day 235

8.25.09 - Today was Andrew's last day of preschool. He will be attending a different preschool. It was bittersweet for me because he'd been there for 3 years and has lots of buddies. When I picked him up all the kids were in circle time and yelled "We love you Andrew! We'll miss you!" Then one boy ran over and gave him a hug and then all the kids came over and hugged him. It was so cute and made me teary eyed. When we walked out to the car I looked down at him and said "Are you okay buddy?" and he looked up at me with the biggest smile and said "Yes. I'm going to Junior Kindergarten!!" That's my boy.

Day 234

8.24.09 - Andrew has been insisting on wearing his glow in the dark transformer gloves to bed each night. The first night it was only one but now it's both. So, I snuck in his room tonight and took a picture. Yes, he keeps them on all night long.

Day 233

8.23.09 - Andrew and I finally did our superhero session! I'd been waiting for the perfect evening and it was about as perfect as that get in terms of lighting. A few clouds in the sky but the sun still peaking through the trees. I got so many great photos of him. Can't wait to print them all out!

Day 232

8.22.09 - I had a newborn session this morning. The baby was so easy to work with and was easily shushed back to sleep when he didn't like a position I placed him in. Just look how perfect this little guy is.

Day 231

8.21.09 - We got a new roof today! (so glad it's over) We had to have it replaced from all the hail damage we received from that tornado a few months back. The roofers worked for about 4 hours yesterday and then worked from 9 -8 today and it's done. I have to say it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Having a finished basement to hang out in makes it so much easier to get away from the noise.

Day 230

8.19.09 - I just love when Andrew laughs like this. We were all out front and Blake was teaching him how to throw the quad into reverse while turning the wheel to make him spin out. Andrew thought it was the neatest thing and kept laughing hysterically each time he performed his new move.

Day 229

8.18.09 - I finally got around to editing my sisters photos. It's only taken two months! I was happy to see I got some nice shots of the kids. I love this one above. I'm thinking canvas!

Day 228

8.17.09 - Today I started the Abs Diet.I'm trying to think of it as a new way of eating and not call it a Diet really. I won't go on too much about this because frankly I get tired of hearing myself complain about my weight and how this time is it. LOL Hopefully I'll have a nice update in a month or two.

Day 227

8.16.09- We hung out in front of the house for awhile today and I coerced Andrew into sitting in front of our flowers on the front porch for me for a second so I could snap a couple pictures. I'm so happy with how the pots turned out on the front porch I wanted to make sure they made into our daily album.

Day 226

8.15.09 -I have been in the rearranging, redecorating mode here at home. I'm so tired of having the same pictures up on the wall when I have hundreds of great ones on my hard drive. I've just been so busy with the business that I haven't had time for these things. I've taken the next two weeks off from new sessions so I can catch up with the house and edit some of my own pictures. I still have a ton of photos that I took in CA that needs some TLC. :-)

Day 225

8.14.09 - Date night!! While Nana is in town Blake and I got to see two movies and go to dinner. What a treat. We really need to find a babysitter and do this more often. :-)

Day 224

8.13.09 - When Nana is here Andrew always gets new toys and one of our first stops was the red store (aka Target) and Andrew got some new Bakagon's . I don't really understand these things or know how to play with them. I think Andrew just likes them because they are like a transformer.

8.12.09- Nana's here!! She surprised Andrew at school again and he was so excited to see her. It's playtime! :-)

Day 222

8.11.09 - Mmmm... nothing says summer like rainbow sherbet ice cream! (with sprinkles) Yes, we went grocery shopping today and came home with too much ice cream. Note to self: eat lunch before going to the grocery store.

8.10.09 - Andrew moved up a level in swim lessons today. He was beyond excited and so proud of himself. As soon as we got in the car he asked if Daddy was home and when I told him he just left for a trip and wouldn't be home for a couple days he wanted to call him. How cute! :-)

8.9.09 - The summer days are quickly fading away but Andrew is making the most of each day left!

8.8.09- Today I had a session with the nicest family and we got some great action shots. My favorite kind to shoot. I know posed shots are necessary but I just love when I capture a family being natural and having fun.

8.7.09- We have a watermelon!! Isn't it cute? Grow baby grow!

8.6.09 - Andrew is still obsessed with his superhero outfit. I just love it too and think he looks so stinkin' cute in it. I think we'll have to put another cape on his birthday or Christmas list. There are so many others to choose from and he definitely will get use of it.

Day 216

8.5.09 - Andrew's superhero cape set arrived today! Oh, I think I was just as excited as him. He didn't take it off for the rest of the day. Then that night a storm blew in and he started saying "I'm THUNDERMAN!!!" Then he would shot his lightening bolts at you. LOL

8.4.09 - My session continued this morning with my friend Jen. When I saw this kitchen I knew I wanted to get some play shots. Rhegan's little dress is just perfect as well. Not to mention the striped wall!

Day 214

8.3.09 - I had a photo session this evening with a close friend of mine and Andrew came along to be my little assistant/play buddy for Rhegan. The girls were playing dress up and Andrew couldn't help but dress up as well and then he really wanted to help feed Kenleigh. When I looked over and saw this how could I not take a picture? Not sure he'll like this one when he gets older. :-)

Day 213

8.2.09 - Everytime we see one of these Andrew yells "It's a speck Mommy!" (Just like on Horton Hears a Who" Then he'll catch it and start yelling "We are here, we are here,we are here." LOL This kid cracks me up.

8.1.09 - This show was awesome!! Andrew loved every minute of it. The dinosaurs were very impressive and realistic, especially to a 4 year old.
